
Meet Mick Morley – Central Coast & Newcastle Account Manager.
If you’ve worked anywhere between the Central Coast and Newcastle, chances are you’ve heard Mick before you’ve seen him.
Mick is MD Brick’s Central Coast & Newcastle Account Manager. Loud (by his own admission), friendly, and the kind of person who genuinely enjoys meeting new people and helping them make the right decisions on their build. He doesn’t just talk about products; he talks about outcomes and the best products to achieve them. He wants to see the whole job come together properly.
And he knows what he’s talking about.
Mick started his career on the tools as a roof tiler, spending 25 years working on roofs before moving into supervising and sales across the roofing and brick supply industries. With more than 40 years in construction, he understands building from the ground up. The time he spent on the tools shaped the way he works today: communicate clearly, listen and respond quickly. Customers don’t need fluff; they need follow-through.
Being on the road suits Mick. Every day is different, every job has its own moving parts, and he thrives on putting the pieces into place. He takes pride in seeing a project come to fruition, from the early conversations through to the finished result. For him, it’s about making things happen and keeping them on track.
He’ll tell you he once wanted to be a male model (and yes, he’s happy to joke that he should’ve taken his shirt off and worn his Baywatch budgies for this profile). But these days, he’s far more interested in building strong relationships and being part of a solid team. He loves the MD Brick crew and values the teamwork it takes to deliver for customers.
Outside of work, Mick’s played team sports for years, something he credits for teaching him how to work within a group and back the people around him. That team mentality carries into his role: he listens, he cares and he follows through.
His co-workers might describe him as loud and a bit annoying, but they’d also say he’s punctual, outgoing, loyal, good for a laugh and always ready to step up.
