Meet John Kirovski – Sydney Account Manager
If you’ve spent any time in the building industry around the Western Suburbs of Sydney over the last 15 years, there’s a good chance you’ve crossed paths with John Kirovski, and if you have, there is a fair chance you’d remember it for some obvious reasons.
John is a Sales Representative at MD Brick, looking after builders, trades and developers who want their brick, block and masonry supply handled properly. When he says, “I’ll get it sorted for you”, he means today and he’s going to take care of all the details.
He’s direct. Honest. No sugar-coating. In construction, that matters. When timelines are tight and money’s on the line, John believes you deserve to know exactly where you stand. If there’s an issue on site, he won’t hide behind emails (in fact, we’d say email is not his strong point, a phone call or a text is more his style) he’ll show up. If a delivery needs sorting, he’s on the phone or in the ute making it happen. He stays involved until the job is running smoothly.
Despite his fierce loyalty to his customers and his sometimes tough exterior, there’s a real warmth to John. Once he knows your order is under control and everything’s running as it should, he’ll always circle back with a genuine, “How you going? Good? You really good? That’s good.” It’s a small thing, but it says a lot. Beneath the straight-talking edge is a heart of gold that extends to everyone he works with.
John didn’t start in bricks; he started as a chef. Commercial kitchens taught him discipline, timing and how to handle pressure without excuses. One thing out of place in a kitchen and the whole service feels it. Construction’s no different. Details matter. Standards matter. And if something’s not done right, he takes it personally.
With 15 years at MD Brick, John has built long-term relationships that are still going strong today. His approach is “old-school”: handshakes, hard work and backing your word. He believes reputation is everything, and he protects his by standing behind every job he’s involved in.
Away from work, John’s world revolves around family. His wife, three sons and now his grandchildren are everything to him. Food is still a passion too; once a chef, always a chef. Being around a table with good food (that he has cooked) and good company is John’s perfect weekend.
If you’re looking for polished sales talk, John is not your guy.
However, if you want someone who will fight to get your job done right, take the pressure off you and stand by you when there’s a problem and make sure your supply runs the way it should, John is your guy.
