Brad Cairns didn’t start his career behind a desk; he started on the tools.
As a qualified bricklayer, Brad built his early career on-site, learning the trade from the ground up. It’s where he developed a practical understanding of brick properties, what works in real conditions, and what trades actually need to get the job done right. That hands-on experience became the foundation for a successful career in helping builders and bricklayers.
After bricklaying, Brad started working with the brick manufacturing company, Namoi Valley Bricks. It was here that Brad gained insight into how bricks are made, specified, and supplied at scale. After 9 years with Namoi Valley Bricks running their Sydney yard & display centre, Brad joined the team at MD Brick as a Sydney Account Manager. Being out on the road and looking after customers on-site is where Brad loves to be.
Having worked on the trade side as a bricklayer and now on the sales side, Brad brings a rare perspective to his role. This gives him a level of understanding for what his clients need and how to deliver it to them to ensure the greatest level of satisfaction.
Brad is reliable, easy to deal with, and makes sure his customers get what they need when they need it.
Brad is known for his laid-back nature, straightforward communication, and ability to find practical solutions without overcomplicating things. He understands the pressures of being on-site, so he focuses on keeping things moving and removing friction wherever he can.
Outside of work, Brad’s just as active. He’s a passionate waterskier who has competed in events like the Bridge to Bridge, racing from Dangar Island through to Windsor. He’s also been the President of Pitt Town Sports Club for the past three years, reflecting his strong connection to his local community.
And when he’s not on the water or working with customers, you’ll likely find him catching up with mates over a beer or backing the Parramatta Eels – still holding out for that long-awaited grand final return.
With over twenty years in the industry and a career built across multiple facets of it, Brad brings experience, consistency, and a genuinely down-to-earth approach to everything he does.
