About Mark

I am the Sales and Operations Manager at MD Brick with over two decades of experience in the building supply industry. My career began unexpectedly at a retail paving shop called Paving Plus at Pennant Hills, where I first learned the critical importance of building trust and rapport with customers. In my role, I excel under pressure and leverage my ability to think logically to find effective solutions for our customers and team. My approach is straightforward—I focus on assisting rather than selling, treating others with respect, and consistently following through on my promises.

Early in my career as a Sales Representative, I managed to revive a customer list that was largely overlooked, emphasising quality service over competitive pricing. This shift not only secured lasting business relationships but also taught me the value of genuine interactions in achieving long-term success. Today, with 21 years in the industry, I embrace the challenges and continuous learning my role entails.

Outside work, I engage in activities like motorcycling and waterskiing, which enhance my focus and ability to be fully present—qualities that are essential in a dynamic professional environment. My colleagues would likely describe me as direct and good-humoured, a combination that I use to effectively lead my team while fostering a positive workplace.
