I have always been the guy who needs to know how things work. I always want to see if there is a way I can do it better. I have worked in specification assisting Architects, Interior designers, Engineers and Landscape Designers for the past 25 years. I started this journey as an Electrician – the perfect trade for someone who needs to know the nuts and bolts behind the finished product. Communicating and offering expert opinions on projects to specifiers soon became a love affair where I found myself building relationships with clients who began actively seeking my design input on their projects.
Since then, I have embraced this passion and moved into the role of Architectural Specifications Manager with MD Brick. In this role, I bring awareness of boutique building products to architects, landscapers, and Designers. I am a people person at heart, and I enjoy the aspect of this role that allows me to focus on meeting new specifiers and designers and discussing with them the benefits and aspects of different products. Through these discussions and meetings, we are able to find the best solutions for their projects.
