Like all successful businesses MD Brick started with a small team, an idea and a garage.

Island Block and Pavers

The Premium Smooth Pearl ECO, with its white brick design and evenly spaced horizontal and vertical lines, offers a sophisticated look. Each brick features a smooth texture accented with small grey specks for a clean, uniform appearance that is environmentally friendly and elegantly refined.

Big Trade Support for Small to Medium Trades

Martin recognised a gap in the market when it came to offering a more personalised service to small to medium trades and consumers.

The big companies were being looked after, however, the up-and-coming tradies were finding it hard to compete for the same level of service, price and product range. With expert experience in the masonry supplies industry, Martin embarked on this journey to service this gap, and in 2006 MD Brick was born. Working from the garage in his Central Coast home, Martin began building his clientele of tradesmen; bricklayers, builders and DIY homeowners, needing bricks and other masonry products, and offering a personalised service that matched what the larger companies were receiving from the leading brands.

A modern patio with beige walls and large glass doors features a geometric patterned stone floor crafted from sustainable building materials. Turns out this was a winning formula. It wasn’t too long before the business outgrew the garage, has since outgrown 4 premises, and now employs 18 staff across two locations, West Gosford and Minchinbury. Not only has the business grown, but the variety of products has also grown.

Initially only distributing bricks, grey blocks and retaining wall blocks and then later moving into more diverse landscaping products. These included exquisite natural stone cladding and pavers, clay and concrete pavers, coloured blocks and retaining wall blocks. Not being content to rest on its success MD Brick continued to evolve. While still maintaining a steady focus on servicing Trade SMBs and DIYers, MD Brick now stocks and supplies a range of boutique bricks, blocks, pavers and fibre cement cladding to service projects for architects, landscape designers and interior designers.
